On 11 November 2018, the world will commemorate a defining moment in history, the centenary anniversary of the Great War's Armistice. Approximately 650,000 Canadians served, including members of the Canadian Expeditionary Force, Canadians and Newfoundlanders who served with British... forces (Newfoundland was a colony of Great Britain until 1949) and merchant mariners. Of this number, more than 68,000 gave their lives. Remember these brave Canadians with your purchase of an official Armistice commemorative coin. The coins will be made of cartridge brass, approximately 1 3/4" diameter, and next in a set that began with this year's Vimy Ridge coin (SOLD OUT). The front includes the Canadian Expeditionary Force cap-badge; and the reverse, Canada's National War Monument (Ottawa). The coins will pre-sell for $25 each + shipping fee.
